About me

I am originally from Sweden but live and work in Houston, TX. I am a 23 year old English teacher who loves fashion. I enjoy thrift shopping and bargain hunting when I can find space in my closet to add more clothes to the madness it already is. Style is similar to language arts; it's a way to express ideas. Like writing, style is an extension of yourself. It is a representation of who you want to be and believe yourself to be.

The best Goodwill find

Shirt: River Island, on sale (Sweden)
Pants: Volcom, from Ross (US)
Shoes: Target (US)
Watch: Michael Kors, graduation gift (US)
Purse: Longchamp, from Goodwill (US)

This purse was $2.99. Can we just take a minute to appreciate that together? I can't believe it. The Goodwill I found this bag usually puts aside big brands and prices them at $30 or $40 depending on the brand. I think whoever was working missed this guy, or didn't recognize the brand. There is nothing major wring with the bag. There is a little wear and tear on the bottom corners, but that happens with Longchamps that are loved. Where the straps attach on the back the fabric is splitting a tad, but I can sew that. I can't complain at all; it was $2.99!!

I love wearing statement pants to work. Boring just isn't my thing. First impressions are important. I hope the students get the impression that I'm not boring, so class must not be boring. See what I did there?
